Transit
Death as a result of Injury, Accident, Collision, Overturning, Theft, Hijacking, Fire, Lightning and illness directly as a result to the Transit. Post Release Stress specifically excluded.
Green Hunt
The non-consumptive hunting of a free ranging animal using chemical immobilization agent via a ballistic syringe, the administering of antidote and release. This cover is valid for 48 hrs. after chemical immobilization.
Horn & Tusk Cover
When the Insured animal(s) tusks or frontal horn has been reduced in length by a minimum of 75%.
Capture Cover
Cover shall commence from the point of containment or chemical immobilisation and cease within 24 hrs. from the point of containment or chemical immobilisation or at the point immediately prior to the animal being loaded in the transit crate or vehicle, or penned, whichever occurs first.
Post Release Stress/Capture Myopathy
Cover shall commence from the point of containment or chemical immobilisation and cease within 24 hrs. from the point of containment or chemical immobilisation or at the point immediately prior to the animal being loaded in the transit crate or vehicle, or penned, whichever occurs first.
Boma Cover
Where the insured animal dies during holding in a boma as a result of Illness, disease, Injury, accident, theft or poaching, flood, fire and lightning.
